Now we finally arrive at Haydn's final twelve symphonies, those he wrote for London in the first half of the 1790's. As you can see, the orchestra was much larger than anything he wrote for at Eszterháza, or even Paris.
Even though Hoboken put the Sinfonia concertante in this list (#105), I relegated it, with its 1792 date, to a life outside of the symphonies. The other high numbers, such as 106 (The Overture to Le Pescatrici) and 107 & 108 (Symphonies A & B) show up in their appropriate places, so we now have the 106 of the accepted canon.
